Wow, after the very slow start, the progress here is amazing.

Rising fast. So far, not bad. I'm curious how the windows will look. Seeing it in person is definitely different than through a rendering. Hopefully it will complement the facade. I feel with this type of facade, everything must be in sync for it to work. No room for error design wise.

I thought they said till their faces turned blue that the facade was going to be limestone.
This is horrible.
Horrrible, I say.

Wow! NYCLuver thanks for the pics! This building is going to be a gem in Manhattan. That pre cast concrete really blends well with the older buildings. I wonder how it will age...

The cladding looks very classy. This building will look great when completed.

^ Nice shots.

Does anyone know what the low rise portion to the rear of the building will be?

From today. Lower Manhattan skyline is growing.

You can also see 56 Leonard (first from left).

It's at the cusp of soaring now. Most people will see it from the WTC memorial grounds. 30 Park Place will go along very harmoniously with the Federal Building.

It will be left as is -- just like 15 CPW.

My guess is that 30 Park will rise faster. In this photo, they're about the same height.
