1910 was a great time for American cities, it was the peak of the city beautiful movement. I wish we could build vast amounts of incredibly beautiful architecture like they were doing at this time, what a shame.

So far all I found of the Quad Cities is this colored postcard view of Davenport, Iowa, circa 1908.

Found another shot of Davenport, approx 1913...The only building still standing is the one in the center of the photo with the awnings on the ground floor. I pass it every day.
