Instead of making obscure jokes, maybe these guys should be addressing the mass proliferation of health clinics in our core. Otherwise we'll seeing a health clinic on every street corner.

there's a limit on liquor stores and cannabis stores.

no-one seems to want any more banks or financial institutions.

no-one seems to want any more convenience stores.

no-one seems to want any more fast food outlets.

no-one seems to want any more nail salons.

no-one seems to want any more ground level offices.

no-one seems to want any box retailers.

no-one seems to want any night clubs or large bars.

no-one seems to want any chain outlets.

and now we're complaining about health clinics in the middle of a pandemic no less.

at least no-one's complaining about vacant storefronts and no foot traffic. oh wait...

i guess all a guy can do is laugh.

Is Wine And Beyond still going to open in ICE District? I was quite impressed by their Southgate location when I stopped by this afternoon.

Unsure, but it was approved I believe.

That said, there are 2-3 applications right now...

So, main floor retail, mezzanine and the 3rd floor. Must be a larger retailer! Did you speak to Richie about this?

Wine & Beyond was approved for Brewery District, not sure why they haven't opened.

They just finished a major renovation, why must they undergo another facelift?

Simply a permit to do tenant improvements/fit-out for their retail.

That's the total value of the overall permit.

Yup, odd how it presents, but nothing amiss.

Dollarama is opening soon on the 2nd floor of Kingway Mall, taking up part of the old Target space.

Saw that this weekend. I wonder if the location at 118 Ave near NAIT will remain open? It is awfully close to the mall, but then again, perhaps there is demand to support two locations in close proximity?
