I sure he can but the question is how much will he risk and or be able to get financing for even Dan Gilbert is going to struggle to get financing for a project with an estimated 400k sq ft of office space in this market. The redevelopment of Campus Martius is something long desired by city leaders, the scale and quality of project was always going to rely partly on its designation by the state as one of the so-called “transformational projects”.

Not sure where else to ask this, but have we learned any more details on the new Monroe Blocks or "Development at Cadillac Square?"

The original plans had numerous renderings, programming layouts, building heights etc. This new plan has produced one ground-level rendering. For a major development supposedly breaking ground in a couple of months (after the NFL Draft), we know surprisingly few details.

I share your frustration. This was/is to be my favorite project in the city.

I remembered seeing an image back in the spring of a model that didn't look like the original renderings. I just found it on the other forum, but I don't know anything else about it.

I just hope that what goes in is not all low rise stuff...I really hope they can find a way to put something with a fair amount of height into it.
