And, can we all agree that new government building is trash? Every time I see it I'm reminded of how out of place it looks. I would expect that type of building in Alpharetta or Cumming (I grew up in Alpharetta and love the place so this is not OTP hate).

Its appropriate for such an ugly building to be named for Nathan Deal, who racistly proudly questioned the birth certificate of our 44th president

...and to think, at $130million it holds the distinction of being the most expensive building ever built (with state funds) in Georgia history. Yuck.

The tiny front doors, chunky proportions, stark landscaping at the front... okay I'll stop.

Wow, that's one of the nicest looking apartments I've seen go up in Atlanta in a while. Amazing what a simple brick design can do, rather than a mish-mash of colors and materials.

I agree! And it was very apparent even from the renderings.

In the spirit of piling on, I drove by these apartments a few weeks and they look fantastic. Great design, materials and colors.

Nice to see that there are a few developers who divert from the trend at least a little, into retro industrial. Just a small step.

IMO, 565 Hank is the best looking apartment complex built in the city in the past few years. The brick and black painted red iron balconies instantly look classic. I can’t wait to see the yellow neon signage lights at night. Think it is even going to be better. Very proud of how the whole area is evolving. Better than I imagined. Let’s hope the Publix doesn’t change the vibe, but I’m not looking forward to the way it is currently designed.

Summerhill, The Gulch, all the buildings going up in Midtown and West Midtown, an exciting time for the city!

Ten 5 Summerhill

The project at 105 Georgia Avenue will feature 21 condos.

There is a tree removal sign on the property when I walked by yesterday for dinner at GA Ave.

I love this "small-ish" infill like 105 Georgia Ave. We need more of this around the city, rather than just big developments that need a whole block. This will add great texture to the neighborhood.
