Philadelphia skyline by Philly SkyGuy, on Flickr

The tower crane can be seen well from Spring Garden Street Bridge (to the right of the CTC), so we'll definitely see the building rise into the iconic view in the next few months

Isn’t that the tower crane for 2400 Market Street?

2400 Market (Aramark) has been completed since 2018. The tower crane for this project, 2000 Arch Street, is in front of the Kennedy House

This is such a sleeper development and will have an outsized impact on it's immediate area IMO. I also think it defies the narrative that Philly only builds residential and not commericial. Between this, the new Morgan Lewis building, all of the research space in West Philly and the Bellweather, Navy Yard...it's very far from the truth.

Excited for this one to come to fruition.

Don't forget 2300 Market (next to Aramark HQ) is a pretty large-scale commercial development too - mostly focused on life sciences/lab/research spaces but I think it's a good thing to see some encroachment into CC from UC on that front.

Tuner Philadelphia posted on Instagram a construction update. I noticed the excavation walls are held up along the site, but it looks like the constructed foundation for the building is not flush with the excavation walls. Can someone explain?

Now would be a good time to clean and light SEPTA's bridge in response to it's shiny, VERY SHINY, new neighbors on the north AND the south. Aramark etc.
Wash the stonework with light, including the underside. It should glow.
All a new photo-op!
A VERY SHINY example of the new image of Philadelphia.

agree, some of the other bridges up river look great with simple lighting, no reason they couldn't do something similar
