Now that is an attractive-looking street frontage. Can't wait to see that activated by retail.

Kinda ironic that the street level brick facade complements the Brazos Lofts across the street. They will most likely be torn down soon and replaced with another blue glass box.

It looks great.
Is it only the actual ground floor? Basically, are those other two floors conference/hotel space, or are they also for lease?

The hotel has three F&b outlets, and at 6300 sq ft meeting space on level two; the other main announced tenant is Studio Three, a fitness concept out of Chicago -- they get 10k sq ft spread between floors one and two.

I don't know, but assume that most of the 2nd floor is already spoken for with these uses.

Yeah, the street interaction of this really is nice. Still, I'm not a fan of this one. It isn't horrible, but I'm not a fan. Again, the best views of it are from the east, particularly the northeast where the reflections show.

GORGEOUS, elegant and mature. Architects/developers take note! I love the color and simplicity of the brick....if only the tower had some of it blended in.

When the scooters show up you know it's close from opening.

The Diner Bar
Key Players: Mashama Bailey, Johno Morisano

Estimated Debut: Early 2022

Chef Mashama Bailey of Savannah’s acclaimed The Grey restaurant and casual counter-style The Grey Market will expand her Southern roots to Austin’s Thompson hotel early next year with The Diner Bar and a second outpost of her sandwich shop and market. Located on the property’s ground floor with an all-day menu, expect the Port City Southern food for which she’s known, this time with Texan touches.
