I think the NY forumers didn't notice that this is in the Chicago sub-thread. They may only be looking through the highrise proposal thread and didn't notice that it's also listed under the Chicago sub-thread.

So PM a moderator to delete the link from the Chicago sub-forum. It's not like any of us can do anything about either.

Hey mods could this be moved out of the CHicago sub forum?

At the moment, if you go here: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/tags.php?tag=chicago

You can see that this poor NYC thread is being held hostage by all of these Chicago threads. I know Chicago wants some of these towers, but this is not the way to do it!

Foundation Work Underway On 38-Story, 251-Unit Mixed-Use Tower At 515 West 36th Street, Hudson Yards District

Quote:
Foundation work is now underway on the 38-story, 251-unit mixed-use project under development at 515 West 36th Street, to be located on the future corner of Hudson Boulevard in the Hudson Yards District. The site can be seen thanks to pictures taken by NY Construction Photography. The latest building permits indicate the tower will encompass 328,473 square feet and rise 418 feet to the roof, not including bulkhead elements.

There will be 13,573 square feet of retail space across parts of the cellar, ground, and third floors, followed by a 35,974-square-foot dormitory on the fourth through seventh floors. Residential units will be located on the eighth through 38th floors. They should average 789 square feet apiece, which suggests rentals are in the works. Twenty percent of them, or 51 units, will rent at below-market rates through the housing lottery. Lalezarian Properties is the developer and Ismael Leyva Architects is behind the design. Completion is expected in the spring of 2018.

There are so many mods here... idk why one of them can't move it...

I feel like urbanizer is the only mod that moves threads or does mod like work.

Lalezarian Properties' Second Far West Side Tower Begins Its Ascent
January 18, 2017
Quote:
Fresh off the opening of their High Line-hugging rental complex, 507 West Chelsea, Lalezarian Properties is reaching into the Hudson Yards skyline again —with their 250-unit rental tower at 515 West 36th Street. Construction of the 38-story high-rise is already three floors above ground, and its lantern-like pinnacle will top-off over 450 feet. The project’s through-block site is located 8 blocks north of Lalezarian’s last venture and two blocks north of Related/ Oxford’s Hudson Yards Master Plan. While currently the site is hemmed-in, midway between Tenth and Eleventh avenues, eventually the full western side of the building will face the new Hudson Boulevard Park.
