Really is amazing to watch.

Thanks harry.
Will add to the cheerleading - They have a forest fire on their tails on this one. The rate of progress is impressive. With current rate or progress + planned top-down construction, working weekends/nights, it seems to be a recurring theme that they are aiming for speed.

Saw them pouring the mud mat for the second tower crane foundation today. I would expect to see 2 cranes operating on site within the next few weeks.

I'm excited to see if the stone vertical elements are more pronounced in real life compared to the renderings. That detailing and the setbacks are what will make this stand out from the typical blue glass box.

This look of stacked slabs is so hot right now. I like it. It's interesting to see it being proposed in other cities.

(so great, apparently, that my ellipses has an extra period)

It's nice glass. The blue may be overdone a bit in Chicago but it still looks nice. What I remember being posted on here from years ago is that if the glass has a reflection that is not wavy then it is good glass. The glass here appears to have clean and sharp reflections.

It is simply amazing how they bring these structures into fruition. To a novice like me the stages of skyscraper development seem so confusing, especially One Chicago, but at the end of the day, or years, it all comes together. I believe the beginning to end process of skyscraper development is probably what led many of us to become attracted to skyscrapers from the start. Forgive me for being nostalgic but it was 1974 when I saw a skyscraper developed and have been impressed ever since.
