Please, please, pleasssssseeeee, I hope they clad the concrete facade of this building with metal (aluminum would look nice), the concrete does not look good at all. I still love the design though, this building is so slender I still find it incredible.

The concrete will look great. It's the windows I'm unsure about.
It blows me away to think that each of those windows is 10x10 feet. It really gives you a sense of just how massive this building already is and how incredible it will be when finished!
I'm sure there's some reason/logic to it, but it's cracking me up how random the window installation is. Anyone have any insight into why they're so sporadic?
In case it's not clear already, this tower will be very impressive once it reaches it's full height.
Looking at it now, it's hard to believe how much is left to go.

That material covering the concrete on the lower levels really makes me wonder if they are going to stain the concrete.
Not sure what you mean? I do not see any material covering the concrete on the lower levels, are you referring to the different looking concrete on the 57th street side? If yes that is going to be covered once the tower is completed as there will be a large multi level retail section. That concrete is not the same as the rest of the tower as it will not be exposed.
The dimensions are what is really going to make it look very impressive at its full height. Considering its something like half of the original WTC dimensions I believe.
