The power lines in our city are out of control. I have lived in multiple large cities and the power lines here are very noticeable comparatively. Such an eyesore but a necessity I guess.
Not as bad as Southeast Asia! Do a Google search of power lines in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, etc.

Very curious to see if that downward angled section of glass is non reflective because if it's not, there could be some issues come summertime in the late afternoon's
I'm thinking of that skyscraper in London that focused light like a magnifying lens melting cars and other things.

I really love that view looking north up South First at Barton Springs. That whole intersection is getting more and more impressive with the skyline wrapping around over to Rainey, and now RiverSouth is smack dab in the middle of it.
Great pics, corvair. I was gonna say that this one is starting to feel significant. I took a downtown tour a couple of days ago and this one would pop up in all kinds of interesting angles and views. maybe it's just that the south shore plateau is so much shorter. Either way, you could definitely tell this one is starting to exert its own gravity.
