Tusayan is a town in Coconino County, Arizona. The population is around 550.
Tusayan serves as the gateway town to Grand Canyon National Park. The town was developed after Arizona Route 64 was upgraded to a paved road through the area. The park's boundaries are just north of Tusayan, and the main entrance gate to the park is 2 miles north of the community. Tusayan provides services that are not allowed inside Grand Canyon National Park, such as restaurants, commercial services such as laundromats, additional hotel space, and residences for tourism industry workers.
Visitors who drive into Tusayan on Highway 64 from the south get a view looking north of the town.
