Birmingham - UK 2nd city home to Cadbury's, Ozzy and the lovely Cat Deeley

Taken by Birminghams forum's most prolific and arguably best photographer, Mr Smileyface. Others are included by other forumers (Grendel, Biosonic)

Great to see Birmingham on here. I think British cities are very under-represented on this forum - we need more pics of British cities - there is a lot to show. Those are some beautiful skyline shots. Birmingham has changed a lot in recent years!

Wow--awesome stuff (especially those wild panos)! Kudos to Mr. Smileyface and thanks for posting them here. Birmingham looks great. And I too echo previous sentiments, we seriously need more UK city photos.

Birmingham has some nice buildings (although it also has too many of those boxy 60s and 70s apt blocks) on its long, but unfocused skyline. That circular tower at Bull Ring actually looks pretty nice for a '60s tower. While I'd never say the skyline is particularly impressive, it will be getting better. Birmingham looks like a great city at the street level (which is more important in my book anyway).
