Bad news for Brightline. They has pushed back to Orlando in 2020 opening date. They won't be extended to Orlando for a quite some time.

All Aboard, which originally billed the Brightline project as a faster and safer way for millions of tourists and business workers to travel between South and Central Florida, has yet to begin construction on its West Palm Beach-to-Orlando leg.

Anthony Westbury: Stop the train in Fort Pierce! But where?

Quote:
From my admittedly small samples and totally unscientific methods, I couldn't find anyone in downtown Fort Pierce who didn't support the idea of asking Brightline for a train stop in the city.

As you may have read in a column last week by my colleague Rich Campbell, city officials are encouraged by preliminary discussions with the fast train operator and are hoping to have further talks within weeks.

I wouldn't underestimate the Orlando airport terminal. It'll be quite impressive when it's operational.

Head's up! Fifth BrightRed is on the way to Florida. The final train#5 is already out of Sacramento, CA.

Get your camera ready!

Right now, they are in New Orleans and then they will continue to Florida.

They have to stop in Yuma, Tucson, Houston for crew change and also, they delivery a pizzas for dinner.
