There are SO MANY projects going on in Minneapolis and St. Paul right now. Dozens of apartment complexes and condos. The density of both cities is increasing.

I will update when I can....

Greetings All!...

Not sure where to start but first of all...

The new Portland condo tower is now underway! 17 floors.

Link to news story can be viewed HERE

Also across the block there is another developer Kraus-Anderson who is building a new HQ downtown and are wanting to build several other buildings including a 17 floor residential tower!

A link to the news story can be viewed HERE

There are several other proposals in play but no word yet on if and when construction will start.

There is so much to be excited about! I normally hang out at SkyScraperCity but I'll try to stop by here rather often!

Gotta REP the GREAT TWIN CITIES YO!

The mid-block part of that hotel looks almost like some kind of barn or warehouse. Very interesting design.

Updates on the downtown projects

Wells Fargo Towers: Nearly complete, both are T/O

4Marq: Completed, open for moving

Lat45: Completed, many people have moved in so far

Edition Apartments: All 3 are T/O, work has begun on the exterior

Raddison Red: Last I saw, the base is still being formed

Portland Tower: Currently working on the 6th structural floor. 26 units have been sold, or 23%.

AC Hotel: Just one more floor until it's T/O!

Plymouth Hotel: Windows are being replaced each week. It's hard to tell from the street level what is happening

The Encore: Finally rising above the ground. 2 stories above grade so far

100 Hennepin: Trees have been taken down, parking lot is closed!

T3: Elevator shafts are being worked on now. This one is going pretty slowly

Be The Match North Loop: Employees have moved in

Arctic Cat HQ: The 2 additional floors have been added, a lot of new windows

602 Apartments: Above 3 stories last I checked

Mill City Quarter: Nearly T/O! They're using pre-fab here. It's interesting.

That's all I can think of right now.. I'll post some renderings now of projects you guys may have missed.

Note to OPUS: Putting warm-colored tones on the ground floor of your rendering doesn't mean you are making a good street presence. We're not that stupid.

The first phase of this one started about a week ago, can't wait to see this in addition to the other highrises in the area!
