Since i don't come from a town, I will just post a picture of the house I grew up in. It is in a rural area filled with hills, valleys, horse pastures & dairy farms.

Shot this last year. two views from the same parking garage:




The last shot overlaps a bit of LMich's Detroit picture, notably the Ambassador Bridge in the distance. Please forgive the two pics as together they would make a continuous pano with the missing shots in between.

thats a LOT of quite transparent glass in that building... what is that? A greenhouse??

Once a major fur trading hub of Upper Louisiana and principal town of the immediate region where Daniel Boone fled to from the United States, now a deserved sprawl whipping boy with an old (very old for the midwest), fairly intact downtown, St. Charles, MO.
