I generally build in "minifig" scale or close to it. If you do not mind going back to post 1374 on page 69 of this thread, you will see a 1/60 scale version of a the 40 story Guardian Building in Detroit. I also posted some of my earlier stuff starting all the way back on page 1 of this thread after Kevin of Texas's micro Austin.
Building Calgary in minifig scale would be quite an expensive undertaking so start saving your pennies and get a Bricklink account.

Chorduroy, your buildings are very nicely constructed. This intermediate scale between minifig and microscale can be a very challenging one in which to build.
