I may not have a collection as extensive as others, but I do have a very good place to display them.

This is the entire "Tower Made to Scale" Collection that fits in the space above my door.

That is awesome, philip.

America 117, that's a little bit ridiculous of a price for some foam covered in printed paper. Supply and demand, I guess, although I had no idea that they were popular enough to push the price for one building past $100.

Are you joking? They are really rare I had to pay $125 for my taipei 101 building
But it does seem a little crazy when you say it like that.

^No, not joking. The last time I even thought about one of these 3D puzzle buildings was probably 10 years ago when I got E.S.B. for a gift. I'm pretty sure it cost no where near $100 at the time.

I bought the Sears Tower 2 years ago for 25 dollars, and the Empire State for 22 dollars. I found them either at Toys R' Us or online at stores, some small toy stores, they may have them as well. But no where near even 50 dollars!

buildings like sears and empire are around 22 but the ones like taipei 101 and petronas twin towers are around 100. Thats why I said at hobby stores they are way too expensive because really ESB should be only $22 when they try to sell it for $112 I don't know if they are still trying to sell at that price.

In China, I went to a wholesale store and bought a Taipei101 costing $4
Foam with printed paper.
The Taipei101 included the mall or w/e that small building is.
It's pretty tall.
Guys, don't spend that much just for these toys.
I'd upgrade my clothing with those money instead.

I just dropped $36 on the old version of the Empire State Building. This one is 42" tall (unfortunately not to scale). It is brand new and I couldn't resist.

I already have the Willis (uggghh) Tower and Burj al Arab.

Yup. That's not a ripoff, that's the going rate. That one seems to be especially rare. They're not in production anymore, so unfortunately the ones that are around go for a lot of money.

that sounds like something totally different, there is no mall included in the ones i've seen or in the pics that people posted.
