Maybe it's just the Washingtonian in me, but I love long rows of same-height buildings. That first Huntington picture is great.

I´ve liked the pics of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. What a beautiful landscapes! And the towns you show in this thread are very nice too. I´d like to visit that whole area.

The Carlisle Building was partially destroyed by arson about ten years ago. There is a company that intends to restore it...not sure what the lack of action is caused by.

Beautiful buildings, gorgeous hills, awesome photography, and unique skyline shot of Detroit, I don't recall ever seeing The Renaissance Center ever captured from that angle.

Great shots Chris, this one must have been tough to get proper exposure:



Appalachia reminds me quite a bit of Northern New England, especially during the fall. The vernacular is similar.
