I agree about the sides, don't much care for the "pixelated" cladding.
It seems the concept was to serve as a color gradient, transitioning from the dark blue pinstripes on the edges of the South facade, to the lighter-blue solid-color North facade.
The pixel pattern is a clever way to make that happen -- in theory. But the execution is a little goofy, especially when viewing an angle that lets you see both the pinstripes and the pixels. Now, I don't know much about glass or how it's colored, but can someone tell me if it
would have been possible to color the entire side of the building in a smooth gradient like this:

Or would doing so be too resource-intensive, since every panel would have to be colored individually and precisely?
