i never knew depew place even had a name.

it would be interesting to do something more with it — i’m glad that alley came up in this early discussion.

There really is nothing to do with it. It’s not a street like Vanderbilt Avenue, open to the sky with room on the sides. It’s a back alley that’s serviced by postal vehicles and other trucks. The Park Avenue viaduct rises over it. It’s not exactly a space suitable for a plaza, and even if it were, it’s well hidden with little direct access. I like the city’s plan for 43rd street.

And for the rest of you, cool off, it’s Christmas.
