This is the 14th floor on this setback, which means it's the last one before the next setback (which itself has 11 residential floors and a mechanical floor).

Yes working Downtown is awesome. They should be jacking the crane for what is probably the last time in the near future - there are four crane sections on the site.

The crane has been raised to its final height. It looks pretty sweet from a distance.

Here's one I took today from Bee Caves Rd, you can just make out the crane above the Ashton.

Are the Bowie's accent lights always on? Or was this picture taken in the evening?

You know I've been wondering the same thing. It seems like a waste of energy and power to me and it brings up the question why Frost's lighting shuts down so early yet Bowie stays on seemingly night and day?

It appears that the second setback (not sure of the technical term) has topped out and they are now in the process of constructing the third and tallest section of the tower.

I rather like the way the parking garage portion of this building is turning out. I think it might be the most attractive facade ever put on an Austin parking garage. Maybe somebody can post a picture.

How does that garage hiding siding look in person? Can you see what kind of material they are using. I'm trying not to dislike it.

The siding is metal sheet perforated with regularly spaced small holes.

This is going to be one beautiful building once it's done. Dare I say, internationally-recognized and revered. That garage is amazing. Overall, just a very nuanced and complicated design. Especially the way they built around that tree. That could end up being the centerpiece of the entire building. It's too bad that we won't get to see such a good view of it from the northern side for very much longer.

Incredible pictures Urbannizer.
