yeah, it was funny seeing Lower Manhattan in flames, yet the WTC untouched! (though predicted, since it would be VERY CONTROVERSIAL if they made them in flames). of course to us, STR's renders are much more accurate, but i won't complain since these guys are game developers, NOT skyscrapergeeks!

Apparently MW3 is WW3 as well,

Why would that be strange? I don't think I've ever heard of a bombardment that involved hitting on target at a time.

I was just making a silly point anyway... it's a videogame. If you really wanted to get technical, a major armed conflict (as opposed to a terrorist attack) probably wouldn't involve military strikes on Manhattan at all, except perhaps for the West Side rail yards or bridge and tunnel entrances, because office and apartment buildings aren't strategic targets and there's no industry or key transportation infrastructure here (aside from the aforementioned rail yards). Instead, a belligerent at war with the U.S. would be busy bombing the harbors over in Jersey, the oil refineries, the airports, and probably mining the Verrazano Narrows...

But I digress, as usual.

Do you reckon we'll see another elevation next week, if it's on schedule? Or has the rain postponed it?

Someone said they were testing the other waterfall this week. When those get up and running, with the new wtc buildings reflection, it's going to be so beautiful. That peaceful sound of the waterfall running...........it's going to be totally awesome. I imagine when people go down there, they're not going to want to leave.

WTC is looking beautiful.

How in the world did those 3 commie towers find their way into Tribeca? They're so random..

Also, I love Trump Soho and the way it glistens in photos!

Those kinds of apartments buildings forced their way into every corner of the city in the latter half of the 20th century...

The picture looks beautiful with the waterfall. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to come up for the 10th anniversary or wait until next year when the building is topped out. My uncle lives in nyc and I've been trying to get him to take some pics and post them on here.

The top 4 enclosed floors of 1 WTC in this picture are above 7WTC. Are those floors 62-65. So 1 WTC passed 7 WTC at floor 61.

True. I feel privileged to belong to the generation who'll see a WTC rise

Yay, they're filling in steel behind the blue, so if this weather keeps up, we'll be another almost 30 feet up, to the 68th floor I presume?

I never thought of it like that. We should all feel that way.

Amazing

This may have been on this forum once or twice but I haven't seen it on her. I really think it captures the different emotions of New York. I've been there once in my life and all I want to do is go back. Going there really started my whole fascination with architecture. Anyways back to the video!

Also I tried to get the youtube tags to work but couldn't. Sorry
