Here's a pic of downtown from a new angle -- the top of the Thompson.

that's a lot of glass. Why is there a Hotel Indigo "pardon our dust" sign on the Tropicana? Is the Tropicana still going to undergo that renovation?

Looking good. And some really nice nighttime skyline photos on the last page.

I went on a run through downtown yesterday and the entry side looks pretty nice! The sidewalks around it are really narrow though, kind of surprised they were allowed to make them that narrow. Maybe at some point they'll redo the streets and expand the sidewalk. That part of downtown has a ton of room for growth and hopefully will have lots of pedestrians soon.

I'm not familiar with Instagram, but you need to wrap the [IMG] tags around your photo link.

[img]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/db/SA_Skyline_2020.jpg/1920px-SA_Skyline_2020.jpg[/img ]

^Notice that I left the last bracket in the img tag moved away. If you move that bracket so that it's flush with the g like this g] then it becomes an active image link.

I looked at them by clicking "quote" and using the link, but I'm not sure how to post imgur photos. Thanks for sharing.

That is one fantastic shot. The Thompson looks really good here IMO, except for that weird combo of light beige and white on the exterior. Really should have just done the whole building in white like the renderings. Oh well.

That really is a great shot. Great capture of some of the new and old. And a really nice composition of those three.

As a totally random aside, here's the building's current development in BTE Texas Minecraft. Progress is slow largely on account of this being a relatively new building. It's not on Google Earth, so we had to kind of science-out where exactly it would be and how tall it would be, and grab details by going there and photographing/filming. So it's probably not entirely accurate, and will get more accurate later. For now, here's what it looks like. Lol
