Nice pictures, thanks for posting. Are you able to tell how many floors they have left to go? It seems like it should only be one or two.

The bottom picture is about 10 days old. They are currently on the 15th level. I believed it to be 16 stories in total, should be topped out here in the next few weeks!

EDIT: 15 floors in total according to their approved submittal.

A fence is up and there is equipment on site--wasting no time.

A little random here but I work near the new Papago project on Priest and I was the building nearby the 9-story building going up now just yesterday. Anyway, that 9-story building has a GREAT design in terms of geometry and glass color. That particular design would look INCREDIBLE as a 30+ story tower downtown. Just saying. Wish we could get a non-garish, sleek, refined (if tall!) building like that DT...

There were a couple dirt movers moving a little dirt at the Westin site today. Didn't stick around long enough you get a sense really what they are doing, but hopefully means work may start soon.

Also, the original adobe is peaking out at the Hayden House which is pretty neat.

Monthly Tempe Development Update

As promised, I drove around Tempe today and snagged some pictures of the developments we talk about most and then some for those of you who don't live in the area and like to see progress.

Broadstone Rio Salado

The Cameron (Streetlights)

Metro 101

River at Eastline Village

Apollo (Apache/Terrace) (moving slowly along)

Park Place Excavating for the below grade parking

The Collective This is going to look massive, the small footprint and close adjacency to the street will be great. I can also confirm the Westin is excavating for the underground garage.

Mirabella

Canopy Hilton Glass windows being installed on south side.

The Local Should be wrapping up here in the next few weeks. Looks great!

Novel Rio Salado Now Open

Broadstone at the Grand

Ill have more pictures over the next few days of Watermark and other lake front developments.

Great rundown, much appreciated. Looking forward to the Watermark pictures. The Watermark office building already looks awesome, sticking up way above the roughly uniform height of the low/mid-rise apartment buildings on the north side of the lake.

I noticed it looks like there's a big pit in front of Watermark where the grass field is in the rendering. Are they already starting on another phase?

Thanks for the update and looking forward to the Phoenix pictures. There are too many developments I can't keep track.
