Thank you Alex! Much appreciated.

Is that Wells Fargo, or one of the higher floor tenants (if you know)?

Taking off: Hudson Yards now has flying cars for CRE tenants

By Adam Pogoff and Erin Hudson
March 29, 2019

Quote:
Flying cars have landed at Hudson Yards.

Through a partnership with Blade, a $150 million transportation startup, office tenants at Related Companies’ megadevelopment have access to a five-minute shuttle service to John F. Kennedy International Airport.

As of this week, the four-year-old aviation company is running a continuous weekday flight service from the West 31st Street Heliport — one of three in the city — for $195.
Quote:
Though anyone can book a flight, Blade is offering every Hudson Yards employee $100 off their first ride — with C-level executives receiving deeper discounts or complimentary flights — and an exclusive phone line dedicated to booking their travel, which could be on any of Blade’s offered routes.

The aircraft operator says it’s in the process of ironing out deals for corporate rates with some of the companies located in Hudson Yards, and Blade also plans to introduce new services for retailers and restaurants. Those include having a Blade chauffeur ready to ferry a flyer via a golf cart-like vehicle from lunch.

For retailers, Blade is working on a service that will pick up and drive its customers’ purchases from a store in Hudson Yards out to the airport where the bags will be secured until it’s time to fly. The company is also planning to offer a delivery service that would allow Hudson Yards’ retailers to send an on-demand item of clothing out to the Hamptons (whether or not the customer is flying with Blade).

It's like a slice of the east side has been dropped on the west side. If you build it in New York, the crowds will come. Can't wait until Manhattan West, Moynihan, etc. all begin to open.

Related Cos wins bid in WarnerMedia's office sale at Hudson Yards: source

By Herbert Lash
April 01, 2019

Quote:
Related Companies has won a bid to buy a stake in the second-tallest office building in Manhattan from AT&T's WarnerMedia in a deal expected to top $2 billion, a source involved in the bidding said on Monday.

The winning bid for WarnerMedia's 1.5 million square feet (139,355 meters) of space at 30 Hudson Yards, the hub of the new development on Manhattan's far west side, was chosen last week, the source said.

AT&T, looking to cut debt after last year's $85 billion takeover of Time Warner, plans to lease back the space at the tower, which has the highest outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere jutting out from the 100th floor.

...The deal would be similar to Time Warner's sale of its office space in the Time Warner Center in 2014 to Related and two sovereign wealth partners in the deal, the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Singapore's GIC.

That sale allowed Time Warner to acquire its space at Hudson Yards, a $25 billion project developed by Related with Canada's Oxford Properties that officially opened last month.

Time Warner aimed to consolidate 5,000 employees spread across seven locations into one site. WarnerMedia recently began moving into 30 Hudson Yards, the first tenant to do so.

So much activity and buildings going up all across the west side, from 59st down to the highline and only the 7 train services the Hudson Yards area. There needs to be more subway lines for the new demanding areas of west manhattan

Last time I was up by the Wells Fargo floors they had a long way to go. CNN floors are mostly done and moving in.

Yeah eventually it will need some sort of mitigation to aid the strain. So many units coming online, along with the coming worker influx once HY and its proxy towers are complete. 1000's upon 1000's of folks, factored in with the tourist hordes that have invaded. With the completion of the high line, its going to get very crowded.

I agree. Could also serve as therapy for those with acrophobia.
