There is a lot of inaccurate info being tossed around on this forum about this project.

Floor count is 31, plus the crown. Easiest way for you to review the floor count is know half an X is 4 floors, full X is 8 floors. Above ground is 4 X’s including the crown.

Street, it still does not add up to me. If there are 31 floors, and the building is 407 feet tall, then that means each floor is 12 feet tall, assuming the crown is 10 feet tall and each cement floor is 6 inches thick. Does that not seem to be pretty low ceilings for class A commercial space? I thought ceiling height was closer to 18-20 ft for class A space.

Medical facilities usually have the highest floor heights and it’s isually only 16’ max. Nothing is 20’ except industrial warehouse space maybe or big box retail which is usually 25’ clearance inside.

Agreed though that the figures presented don’t really add up. We will just have to wait to see plans and floor count. Is it 27 or 31 floors? Regardless the building will probably be around 400 to 420’.

How tall is Atlantic House? I’ve googled to no avail and am to lazy to go through the site and locate. Anyone remember quickly? I don’t think the 411’ figure is accurate.

And now we are counting the # of Xs on the building, and multiplying by circumference to figure out how big this latest phallic symbol will be once erected... Geez

There is a blue crane base - mid-block - on Peachtree Walk where the residential building is slated for construction.

I assume this is the first of many cranes to be erected on this multi-building site.

A crane is rising on the site! I talked briefly with a construction worker, who said the crane has two more sections to add yet. He also referenced the tallest tower as being 29 stories and "a bit taller" than Atlantic House. Finally, he mentioned the block due east was next, and that Selig was drawing up one- and two-tower ideas for that space; also, the owner of the low-rise apartments was holding out for more money before selling.
