Again reminding me of the Flames, where everyone in mgmt denied it was a rebuild until there was basically nothing left but some spare parts. Then the media just got bored of asking.

I'd call it a major retooling but not fullscale rebuild.. when I think of fullscale I think of scorched earth

Full scale would be Buffalo... They really hit rock bottom last year.

You seem to be forgetting our defensive core. Bieksa, Edler, and Hamhuis are all huge players on our team. Kevin is a great leader, and lots are even saying he would be a better captain than Henrik (not something I agree with).

EDIT: and I think you're getting Burrows confused with Mike Tyson. He never bit anyones ear, he just bit a guy shoving his gloved hand in Burrows's mouth. I don't think that's a very smart move to begin with.

The question I have for Torontonians is: what do you want the second team to be called? Seattle and Quebec are obvious. Toronto? Not so much.

Why not? can't even get leafs tickets, my buddy buys season ticket packs for $20,000 dollars and then sells them on linkedin/facebook throughout the year for double the price. This is ridiculous, can't even watch a game without a corporate sponsor, at least watch the game in relative comfort. The only problem with Markham, is that it will not be on the subway line, but that is a small price to pay to be able to watch pro hockey here.
