And it has passed! At 7:07pm MST New Horizon phones home and downlinks photos at a whopping 2 kb/s! That's actually quite impressive for the distance!

I want to drop a boat/submarine on Titan, personally.

I want to fly on Titan. I guess because of the pressure / composition, it's theorized humans can strap on wings and fly on the thing.

So you drop the boat, and I'll fly off a cliff to meet you to have a nice, super cold Colorado brew on Kraken Mare.

So.... there's another trade coming if Bridich just downgraded at short, right? Or the Rockies are buying arms in the offseason? Because if neither, the Tulo for Reyes trade was dumb.

The day has finally arrived by Bryan Kilpatrick
Like it or not it is as much a salary dump (as they say in the NBA) as anything.
Quote:
Tulowitzki finishes his Rockies career a .299/.372/.514 hitter with 188 home runs in parts of 10 seasons. He is owed $98 million through 2020. The Blue Jays will take on the entirety of that, per CBS Sports' Jon Heyman.

Now that we're here...

Electricity capacity additions, in gigawatts Source: BNEF Bloomberg
"The Way Humans Get Electricity Is About to Change Forever"
June 23, 2015 by Tom Randall - Bloomberg
Quote:
The renewable-energy boom is here. Trillions of dollars will be invested over the next 25 years, driving some of the most profound changes yet in how humans get their electricity. That's according to a new forecast by Bloomberg New Energy Finance that plots out global power markets to 2040.
An easy to read look at renewables and fossil fuel projections.
