Paris - Part un - The 8th, Opera, Tuileries, Notre, D'O, Eiffel

1988, 1995, 2016 things certainly change yet stay the same.

Enjoy!

--------------------------

Our hotel

Pleasantly amazed at how many kids, schools, playgrounds and families there were around.

Cafe un

The jealousy begins...

Fish mongers and butchers is something I wish N.A. did more often.

Our local park, Monceau, gorgeous.

Time for another rest

Our block had a Boulangerie, a sushi joint, a cafe and an Irish Pub... I was at home.

Nom nom nom

Baguette, check, cafe time.

Stunning originals

Our home gare, St. Lazare

Versailles ain't got nothign!

A poetry reading in the park.

Tuls

L, E, F

Beauty and the beast

Dat glass

Musee D'Orsay

Sacre Blue!

Maybe my favourite of the trip.

Ok, so I go a bit overboard here, but being near the Tour reminded me how it really is the most graceful and beautiful thing man has created besides a woman.

When in Paris...

Simple, delicious, patios..

My local for the week, thanks again to James and Christoff for the hospitality and tips.

Fin de part un

Lovely ... except of course for the pictures of the art from the Musee d'Orsay one of my greatest pet peeves is people standing in front of art with their cameras or phones taking pictures.

Sorry.

I can appreciate what you are saying and certainly if you do not stop pre/post photo to take it in and see it completely and fully first has than I take issue. That said, if you do the latter and then snag a photo for posterity, that's fine as long as no flash and you are quick about it.
