You know, I don't mind sharing, but I don't want others taking from us, lol...not exactly the same, but similar design.

.....The masterplan will be completed with a series of constructions celebrating the area’s industrial heritage while embracing the future, designed by the major international architectural studios involved: SHoP Architects, Office Winhov, Mecanoo and Crimson Architectural Historians, in addition to Powerhouse Company.

Powerhouse Company has designed a building on the wharf that relates directly to the Codrico industrial complex and the “Fonda” residential complex on the site adjacent to the factory. SHoP Architects of New York designed a 220-metre residential tower recalling the first generation of "Hugh Ferriss" skyscrapers in New York. Thus the architects pay homage to the history of the entire Katendrecht district, a point of departure for the great migration to the New World at the beginning of the last century.

Definitely eerie... I love it. Someone please start this thread in proposals. It will be refreshing to follow a Dutch project on this forum

Now its just a question of how long it takes Junior's to sell for another tower that blocks half the view.

Maybe they could make a deal to reincorporate Juniors into a new tower. Sort of like retail space guarantee.

I do hope, if 9 DeKalb ends up a massive success selling wise, that more super talls are considered for the borough. Hopefully the first of many.

^ i believe jds made juniors an offer to do just that, but they refused.

so someday yes there will be a building on the juniors site that blocks it off.

for now lets just enjoy the views we will get — and some juniors cheesecake while we are at it.

I don’t think it’s large enough for anything that tall. But they only need to build up to the level of the bank to make it fit.
