They should put wider staircases leading up from the sidewalk. Also, I took this picture today:

Interesting snap from the construction web cam, from yesterday:

The birds are either enjoying the view or thinking "there goes the neighborhood"...

In any event, looks like they're making great progress. Isn't it funny how some projects just seem to fly while others seem to be stuck in the mud?

I think the grackles have gotten bored with the Hancock HEB and decided to check out Whole Foods.

True, a 40 story tower would have been a lot better, but does anyone know if there's another tower planned for the other half of the site?

Yes. The second "tower" will be five stories due to a CVC.

The cranes should be jumped soon. There are crane sections in the pit.
