Those parking garages will look like housing from the sidewalk.

The photo is the rear entrance of Simply Pediatrics on Barbara Jordan and Lancaster. All of the images are from an old marketing brochure on the Mueller website: http://www.muelleraustin.com/commercial/

It is pretty out of date. Some of the 'under construction' projects are complete and some of the 'planned projects' are under construction (and nearly complete).

Never-the-less, they will still be parking garages.
What a disappointment.

That's a lot of parking for a development that is supposedly geared more towards pedestrians. Granted there is undoubtedly people coming in from the surrounding neighborhoods but it still seems excessive.

By the way, do any Cap metro lines run through Meuller?

yes a few Cap Metro buses, 37, 320, 485, though not many pick up locations, mostly on Muller Blvd and Berkman Dr and Philomena. No stops in the core just kinda the edges.

I have taken the 37 to work before it goes downtown.

Lots going on at Mueller these days. I love all of the affordable housing going up. And that diamond building looks awesome.

Excited to see that senior living apartment finish out by the HEB. It'll really cozy-up that huge intersection and hopefully pull some people out of the confine of the HEB parking lot.

I did not realize their were three complexes going up for apartments, those two next to each other must blend well.

I think I saw me walking my dog around the lake many times in the time laps.

Pet peeve: The intersection of Aldrich St and McBee St is horrible and will cause huge traffic issues. They turned up McBee St to be more at a 90 degree angle to Aldrich St but that makes the left to Aldrich or the Right to McBee very awkward and tight with the snug curbing. I bet in years to come they redo that intersection.

They are nearly done with all the street additions filling out all the internal open space. Alamo Drafthouse and the Diamond are nearly complete on the outside at least.

It looks like they're moving ahead with designating the old Mueller control tower a historic landmark. This opens up the possibility of having it be restored and opened to the public as an observation tower.

This even includes the site plan with elevations for it.
