Love that rooftop garden. I wonder if it would be open to the public?

I don't know if I like Chinese urbanism. Their architecture can be amazing, but their city planning seems to largely be towers in the park with 10 lane roads.

I wonder if the architect for that tower with wings in the background behind that cool looking library building is the same as Atlanta's Symphony tower...looks almost identical.

One Symphony Center (1180 Peachtree) Pickard Chilton Architects Inc.

Ritz Carlton Guangzhou (WATG) Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo

Anyhow back to the Chow Tai Fook Centre, architect firm (KPF) Kohn Pedersen Fox which also built the Shanghai World Financial Center.

I really like this building. Another one that will easily dwarf our One World Trade.

Damn China! You know how to get to work!

This is going to be my favorite supertall in Asia.

The one in Los Angeles looks very similar.

Back on topic: this is probably my favorite supertall under construction in the world. I'm only saddened that the design didn't wind up in midtown Manhattan, where it would be a perfect fit.

Also, it seems to be rising very quickly, but I don't check this thread that often. How frequently would we say the floors are being built?

My favourite supertall as well! But still the largest tenantless building. Hopefully they get tenants soon.

You gotta admit China has become a beast with it's scrapers, I like this 1 but it's no ST,, you actually think it's more impressive.. It's actually progressing quite fast,, if you look at scalziand's photo's from Jan till April.. Great comparison photo's Scalziand..
