Wow thats amazing im excited for potential rastegar i think, Astra phase 1 and 2, and also central station. The skyline is going to look way different when all these different buildings get built in downtown.

Central Station was reduced by 50 feet? That's pretty significant.

You can subtract about 1083' from these limits to get building heights.

Forget about them getting raised anytime soon. Phoenix is not going to sacrifice the airport for taller buildings.

I wonder if it would make any difference if Sky Harbor had a north/south runways? Las Vegas has taller buildings and their airport is closer to the strip than ours is to downtown.

A reorientation wouldn't be possible, though. Runways are oriented to take advantage of prevailing winds to assist in takeoffs and landings.

Thanks ,the reason I brought up Las Vegas is because their airport has east/west and north/south runways right off the strip. They have towers over 600' and thought maybe that runways had something to do FAA

Who cares. We probably won't see any towers go up for at least a year with the uncertainty in the economy. People need to chill out.

Yeah I feel the same way too. Maybe in 5 to 7 years we might get one but I don't think it will be in the core of downtown but a little south of or west of the core.

I agree, I think it’ll be further west towards the capital building especially after the light rail extension West is completed or almost completed, which I believe should be 2024.

It think downtown will extend south, north, and west basically like a big skyline, our skyline might become long towards the capital building maybe in the future.
