I'm not passing any judgements on this building until it is completely finished.

I think the building will look pretty good. What gets me is how all the buildings in that area blend together. I've said this before but its like there is someone in a city planning department the coordinates these developers to design buildings with similar color and design elements. If one didn't know it, one could assume that whole area and all the buildings from Spring and AMILI to Bowie and Monarch were designed and developed by the same company. It's uncanny especially viewing from the pedestrian bridge how well they fit together.

I hope that is an optical illusion, but it really does look like it is leaning.

The problem is that they do all blend together. We are building Austin to look like Sante Fe 20 years ago.

I don't think Santa Fe ever looked anything like this now or 20 years ago, but then again, I guess you mean the color scheme.

I'm ok with it only because it is just a small portion of downtown. I think Seaholm and Greenwater which have glass/white themes will help diversify the look a little bit and tie it all together with 360.

I like it, I want to see how Seaholm going to look once it's complete. So that area isn't going to necessarily look the same.

It looks like it's slightly taller than The Monarch now.

I love how the UT Tower and Capitol still show up here.

It's easily past the 300 foot mark now.

It's now visible from as far East as 12th and Springdale.

^Cool photos. I think those cranes knew you were taking their picture. haha

And aha, I thought the crane looked taller. They were raising it today. You can see one of the pieces in your photo. It's probably pushing 500 feet now then.
