The street-level renders are quite nice actually. Too bad the tower won't be done in this kind of brick...

Well Im through complaining about the blandness of the Griffintown projects. Considering this stretch of Peel would make even someone from East St. Louis raise an eyebrow, Im all for the imminent start of construction of these 20 floor buildings.

Questions:

-How are the sales doing?
-Any dates for start of construction?

So the lady over at the sells office told me that they just signed an SAQ in their first two floors. So in addition to a Metro/Adonis, they are not sure, a brunet, and more, this will be an intense "MALL" or first two floors. Their will be a direct access to it from the condos without having to leave outside. And from the 3d map they show you, which is really cool actually, views of the centre ville will begin at the 7th floor. And finally, even though they share different names, both will share same utilities and common areas.

I was convinced we would see this one top out this summer. Not a fan of the look, but it will make Peel look and feel more vibrant with the supermarket and others shops and restaurant. The griffin towers across the street have already themselves added plenty of street life.
