Yea...but it's a block away from the light rail line, so that doesn't count!

And hopefully, Barrister should start moving in a few months at 21 floors.

I'm OK with another 4 floor development with the above happening
Me too

The more of these 4 floor buildings around Phoenix, the better. They're the most cost-effective buildings that can go up and most of them are pretty dense.

Save the high-rise development for other lots in the future, lots closer to light rail lines, lots in higher profile areas than 7th St and Maryland.

I would take a downtown of nothing but 5-10 story buildings but well designed and densely populated over towers ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.

Edison Midtown is really making a commanding street presence along Central. I love how close to the sidewalk it is compared to the surrounding buildings. I snapped an update pic.

FYI this is the original link you tried to post from imgur:

Right click the link and notice ONLY the image link is what you need to post, you had a bunch of extraneous stuff in the IMG link.

So, while gawking over the cool view that the new Stewart webcam offers, I couldn't help but notice activity going on next to the empty lot at en Hance. Does anyone know if this is the start of phase 2? Could be just prelim work, but hard to tell by the webcam.

UMOM to build $16.6M apartment complex in west Phoenix

This doesn't look too bad considering it's affordable housing, although the article makes finding the location difficult since Dunlap is about 3 miles north of Montebello and Morten is approximately halfway between the two. I also don't see any vacant lot on Google Maps at Morten and 19th Avenue either. The closest I can figure is the lot across the street from the Phoenix Day School for the Deaf which actually makes it closer to 21st Ave. Still, it's only about half a mile to the LRT stop at Northern Ave so I guess that makes it transit related development due to the light rail extension.

Considering the author only had an approximation of the project's location, I wouldn't be surprised if he has the $ amount if off as well.

Apartment Deficit

Good news for more density, as much as I love 5 story apartment blocks maybe we can pump those up to 10 story blocks??

Maybe we can build some legit 20-40 story apartment towers? PUMP IT UP

Exactly! And I'm eyeing Pierce and Third and AZ Center's proposed residential tower with this news. More reason for them to build
