Very true.

Toronto was a little unusual though as many of those parking lots were created when railway tracks were torn up. This wasn't helped by silly taxation policies like the very low rates on parking lots versus other business types.

It's nice to Vancouver get some height and variety in it's skyline. Even those few taller buildings make it far more dramatic and enticing.

Another Future Toronto Render: This one has only U/C (or in site prep) buildings. So far I have added (or finished off) Aura, One Bloor, Ice E & W, Harbour Plaza, 10 York, Massey, B-A E,
Ernst & Young Tower, Casa 2, U Condos 1 & II, INDX, Karma, X2, FIVE and Pace.

The next version will include more U/C and also Proposals.

Winnipeg's bright days ahead

The future is VERY bright for us.
this normally boring angle that makes downtown look like only a few buildings is now a great view with pop.

D condo looks like its gonna have a good impact on winnipeg. i never thought it would be that noticeable or good at first.

now just more pics

I can't get past the post-apocalyptic look to these Google Earth renders. Are those trees or debris left behind by a giant space monster or something?

^Way to go for Winnipeg. That tower is exactly what the skyline needs to bring it to the next stage.
