Oh god, North Dallas is the area that I've been interested in moving down to in the future.

I've been looking at homes in the area. Well thats a bummer. Hopefully tornadoes aren't that frequent.

^ nice! tar vs aluminum roofs are an interesting signal of the economic state of a neighborhood...

In the sense that tar would be cheaper and therefore more common in poorer areas?

Right, a preponderance of aluminum roofs would indicate renovation and investment in the neighborhood

In Philadelphia this is very evident. I can tell if a neighborhood is gentrified by the color of the roofs
