Most professionals use Nikon and probably Canon as second most common. I've yet to see a pro using Pentax, Sony or Olympus. Sony is new to SLRs, thankfully they built their SLR to take Minolta lenses.

That's really how they got into the SLR market. When they bought out Konica-Minolta, they acquired their R&D for their new (at that time) line of SLR's designed off the DiMage line of digi cams. Still, they take some great shots but to expound on your point, yes. Yes, most pros can be found luggin around mulitple DSLR's either Nikon or Canon. It really depends on who they can get the camera's from the cheapest or free!

Fujifilm cameras may not be that good but they have the best sensors and the best image quality in their class.

Pentax has a lot of unique lenses that the other makers cannot compare with. Sad that they are in last place.
