Just like everyone else, I'm finding it hard to pick just one. My favorites are 6, 8, 10, 11, 17, 20. But how do I pick???

I think I like #6 the best because it's so darn unique. My only complaint is that I'd like to see a bit more contrast in the upper portions of the image. But overall I love the shot!

Well done everyone...this is amazing!

Well, shit. It's unfortunate that I missed this contest. I have literally hundreds of photos that would have worked for this...

I'm kind of surprised there isn't one with any feet in sight. It would be a step above the rest.

I think that's the most votes we've had in a contest. Great turnout all around for entries and voting.

Congratulations to Bigtime and to all the discussion on the photos. I think it's extremely useful from a creative standpoint to try to understand how people interpret a given subject and the execution of the photos themselves. It was also great to see some old scanned from film entries.

Thanks for the kudos! Although I think most of the credit has to go to my location than my very amateur photo skills!

For those that want to know more, that was taken with a Canon Powershot SD870. I was really impressed with how well a simple point and shoot did in those conditions down in Antarctica.

Great job everyone.

Don, the kayaker really made that shot. The more I looked the more I liked it.

Can someone poke Bigtime? I've sent two PMs trying to get a subject for next round with no response.

Sorry buddy, has there been any contests utilizing reflections? Or in the spirit of the season we could do something with snow (although we are still pretty snow free here in Calgary).

Snow would put us Houstonians at a disadvantage.

How about 'Winter Precipitation'? That would expand it to rain/sleet/snow/ice/hail...

I was looking over the other thread with past winners and I saw that a shadows one was already done.

We've had rain or storm before. Ninjatune won it, but that was well before I was running the contests. I'm okay with rain/precipitation/winter precipitation as we're bound to repeat contests now and again.

What's the final verdict Bigtime?

It does none of those things here. Haha. Time to improvise with the garden hose.

Let's get the next one going, eh? Not to be pushy or anything, but...

...I want a new contest, damn it!
