Touché! I forgot about Penn Tower haha, which having played on UPENN's tennis courts a few times, Penn Tower would have been pretty prominent looking to the southwest. I guess my memory is not as good as it used to be!

Imagine if, instead, they stacked the North Tower on top of the South Tower

I think twinning the Riverwalk towers was the best plan. Doesn't need to be tall to succeed.

I didn't mean that in jest! I am genuinely happy to see Wanderer voice an opinion like that.

I think this is for Riverwalk? Not sure why they needed to use a helicopter tho.

Ahh I saw that funky helicopter this morning walking my dog, must’ve been right after this, saw it flying northeast over Fishtown without the payload. I was like “what the hell is this weird helicopter for??”

I'm more of a subway guy than a skyscraper guy. Plus Riverwalk is fine that way it is. I still hate the ugly CITC, but prefer most of the skyscrapers in this city.

Ahh welcome to the club then

I don't think CITC is ugly well at least anymore, but in the beginning I wondered why Comcast chose to make a big Vape. now the design has grown on me and I like it now.

However I do wish they make the Spire on CITC change colors, why it doesn't maybe someone else knows.

They planned on doing it but they cut it from the design. As a plumber told me while it was under construction

I honestly don't understand how anyone can hate the CITC -its a Norman Foster for God's Sake, but whatever floats your boat. Its absolutely stunning on a foggy night.

Also, its lightyears better than the American Commerce Center which was rather clunky, award looking and had the weird arched sky garden that was a was fad for about five years in the late 2000's. Frankly, I think CITC is probably the best new skyscraper in the city.

Well IMO The ACC was actually the slimmer and better styled one, in fact the CITC is a copied version of it.

But the ACC didn't fit into the Philly skyline like the CITC does. The CITC just matches its older brother and fits our skyline.

We must respect our tall skyscraper kings

The USB stick and the Vape.
