Maybe we should give energy away for free to the largest users of it. That's how supply and demand works, right?

I question the Math!

Ontario Liberals say cancelled gas plant will only cost hydro consumers $2 a year — ‘Less than a cup of Tim Hortons’
Seems a bit off as an estimate?

That's a relief. The failed privatization scheme from the PCs in the 1990s is only costing us $800 a year.

it isn't off at all, its $55 million annually. Spread out over the entire province, and its maybe $3 or $4 a year. A billion is big bucks no doubt, but its spread over 20 years and is in a $160 billion annual budget.
