The portion where all the construction staging is currently is listed for sale. $22 million. Wonder if they had issues with funding?

Maybe it was their plan all along to find a development partner through a sale of the property?

That is very likely. You don't just randomly sell the property. Makes sense they would have went through the whole development process and got is approved as a phased project but really only wanted to build the veteran's building. They then are selling the property to help pay for that and having a DP in place ups the price of the property considerably.

Pretty smart and you see it in residential where someone wants to build a nice new house so they buy a large property, subdivide, get that all done, then sell all but the property they want to build on so their home is essentially free.

Thanks.

At this rate (assuming 1.5 floors per 2 months), it probably won't be topped off for nearly a couple years from now.

Residential component being marketed as 'Parc Centrale'

Unrelated - A 6-storey rental project named 'Park Central' on Old Yale went to Council Monday.

I was going to say those columns look really skinny,
but the other pics show them being oblong, so the north-south view is the skinny end.

Pic taken by me today - Oct 11. The red spandrel is a nice differentiation from other works under construction in the area.
