A "vendor" is a small sidewalk merchant... basically a store on the sidewalk with everything on a cart or in a small tiny building.

Amsterdam.... one of the most amazing cities on our planet. I'm going to spend 8 days there in October visiting family and I look forward to this every day.

If only all of the cities of the world could be so pedestrian friendly!

I LOVE AMSTERDAM!

LRT = Light Rail Transit

Which I know my family in Amsterdam calls "The Tram"

LRT is the very broad category of fixed rail transit including:
- trams
- streetcars
- trolleys
- etc.

Hats off to you on these great photos!

Can't ask for much more in a city. Love the bike culture, old buildings, street cars, and all those little water ways etc, etc,... I must visit this place.

If it's not your own pictures, they go in the Found City Photos forum.
