What's the final answer SSP Toronto - is BA2 topped out or still a few floors to go?

The elevator shaft is topped out I think, the rest of the floors have to catch up.

Specifically, one more floor of steel beneath the crane by the KPMG sign. Maybe a penthouse too.

The core is topped out, that much is for sure.

The steel will have to play catch up.

Yes that's what I meant. Core is topped out but the floors need to catch up and glass installed. It'll look taller once that's completed.

FIVE Condos

This tower is barely hanging on to be on this list, and its 161 meters tall. Even with the construction downturn, the list is getting taller. Once the Vancouver and Calgary proposals come online, I might have to post updates for this one in the general construction thread...yikes!!

Always entertaining Caltrane.

Take a much closer look at the list. Vancouver and Calgary have nothing by comparison. Even throwing in Edmonton which has more on the go short term than either of those two and it still isn't enough. Something local will kick Five off the list should it happen.

Edmonton has a big boy coming online shortly. That will be exciting for sure.

Still I thought Vancouver has two projects which are due to start up soon, that would be enough on its own to eject FIVE Condos from the list push the minimum to 164 meters. Not that I mind if that happens, l'll just switch updates to U Condos/Karma/BA2/Casa2/100Adelaide/ which should safe from ejection for the time being.

The two Vancouver area proposals from the previous page are already added. Same with the first Edmonton tower. Five is still on the list. Hullmark, X2, West Lake Village, L Tower ...

Tallest 11 - 30 U/C diagram: http://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/?searchID=66185877

Also have to keep an eye on the 10 tallest list, as some of those towers finish up, and on the 50 tallest proposals for new starts...
As of right now, FIVE is # 30 (and it needs a new drawing too)

Anything rumoured is likely on a 2 year timetable for construction. We two condo towers both sold out 198 meters and 194 meters, and we have no clue when they will begin construction here. It be a few months, could be 6 months, could be a year.

Anyways 150-165 meters probably won't make the list. The top 10 is shrinking in height yes, but the mid sized towers between 160 meters to 200 meters is gonna see an explosion of construction, not just in Toronto, but around the country. Will likely have a 165-170 meter cut off to get on this list.

I thought the Delta was 185 meters? The way the list is it's only at 166 meters.

Boy, Edmonton doesn't waste any time getting projects under construction once they are announced, at least in the arena district. Are there not permits required? (rhetorical question).

It's great to see the height requirement for this list on the rise.
