I agree partially but the real question is Horizon or what ever that building is, in construction/site prepare phase?

They're probably at the beginning of prep work. I would expect construction to begin near the end of this year or at the beginning of next year, in other words, about the same time this year as the Reef last year.

Will this phase be taller than the current three that have been built?

It will be 403 feet so a lot bigger. Which is why I am excited to see this rise up hopefully.

It's a spiral. Reef's the shortest, then the original two (can't remember their names), then Tides, then Horizon, the furtherest back, is the tallest. This also means the remaining two are the two with the most saleable condos.

The market they're serving seems to be growing, too, so I would expect Trump or another condo to be revived when either 1) WFS is finished or 2) SugarHouse is built.

Spiral, Architecture:

Example 1:

If you can't figure out where I got this one from, then you're a dumbarse.

Example 2:

New render found at carsonconcrete.net

Noun: Series of gradually ascending buildings arranged in (roughly) a circular pattern.

I went by over the weekend - didn't look so much like site prep to me. Hope I'm wrong.

Maybe because of the downpour rain that was expected.

I have no idea...but if 1) they have the permits, 2) they have 3 other towers on-site, and 3) they have the tenants, then whyever not?

I have driven by the site a few times now, and I see nothing that looks like site work for a fourth tower. The footprint of the Horizon is still covered with trailers and shipping containers. It hasn't even been cleared.

I think they are just doing a garage extension.

Sorry to drag this up from the depths but I was wondering about it. It looks like the Reef is finished and the web site says that its almost 80% sold. Any word on when the shovels might go in the ground for the next phase? I know the economy is a big issue but this project seems to keep going despite the crunch. I know this isnt a fan favorite around here but once all five towers are up it might not be half bad.

Only three towers of the entire project exist today, The Regatta, The Peninsula and The Reef.

Thanks, Urbannizer from Houston, for authoritatively putting to bed a topic we thought we had already settled five years ago.
