I’m hoping we see more development along Ellsworth industrial and Chattahoochee Ave to make the area more cohesive. Great area for more infill, although much of the work here lately is retrofitting existing warehouses. Hasn’t made for a great pedestrian experience.

There is a 'Liquor + Check Cashing' store opening up on Chattahoochee Ave. I cant believe that shit is real.

Do you mean the one next to what was once P Reds BBQ (RIP)? That was already a liquor store they just renovated the building.

Really interesting redevelopment. That will be relatively large food hall.

This Food Hall will be fantastic. It will be like going to DeKalb's Farmers Market, but you'll be able to eat a host of international cruise (all under one roof) instead of taking the food home and cooking it yourself.

Echo Street West lands LA design firm

https://www.bizjournals.com/atlanta/...connector.html

Quote:
A new development on Atlanta’s Westside has landed prominent Los Angeles design firm Rios Clementi Hale Studios. In Atlanta, it has been hired by Lincoln Property Co. to create a plan for a new project that Lincoln is developing in an industrial area on the city's western edge.

Lincoln Property Co. bought the 18-acre site in January, a collection of properties along the former CSX Railroad “Kudzu Line” at Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway and Northside Drive.

Lincoln Property Co. is calling the new Westside development Echo Street West.

Plans call for 285,000 square feet of creative office space, 50,000 square feet of commercial space and 290 apartment units. Future phases may include more office space, stores and restaurants, housing and a hotel.

Echo Street West is projected to break ground this summer.

Looks soooooo much better than what Brock wanted to build.

Also, I wonder if they plan to connect this development via a bridge to Brickworks or some other area across the railroad.

Very nice. Thanks for posting.

Awhile back I remember an interactive google map that had all of the westside development on it. Does anyone recall where that might be?

Thanks for repping the Upper Westside with the pic update. I've got some photos I'll upload, too.

I just moved into this area so I have a vested interest in the development around the Bolton area. Would love to see any pics you have. Its construction everywhere. Project I'm most excited for is the connection between the Silver Comet and Beltline. would be huge for that area in my opinion.

The sale of Tilford Yard will be the biggest thing in this area since the Westside Park announcement imo.

Absolutely agree with that. Hopefully it wont just be another neighborhood of Brock Built housing haha.
