They've started on the facade and windows. It's turning out to be quite different from the renderings. The glass is green instead of blue, and the end of the residential tower has more glass and no balconies.
I know many complain about glass boxes, but I’d wager we could use another 20-30 of these and still be alright leasing them and the city looking fantastic.
Hard to say since we don't have renderings of the final design and none of the finishes are on yet, but I have a good feeling about it. The balcony layout is less interesting, but then again, the proposed one wasn't practical anyway. It would have made it impossible to maintain the exterior without going into individual apartments.
I think the Peachtree end will have something interesting, like a spine of lighting. There's a gap there that seems made for it. We'll see!
